PDF

Controls the initial viewing mode for the document.
Document: Displays only the docuemnt pages.
Outline: Display the table-of-contents outline as well as the document pages.
Full-screen: Displays pages on the whole screen; this mode is used primarily for presentations.
Controls the initial layout of document pages on the screen.
Single: Displays a single page at a time.
One column: Displays a single column of pages at a time.
Two column left/right: Display two columns of pages at a time; the first page is displayed in the left or right column as selected.
Choose the initial page that will be shown.

Security

Check to number all of the headings in the document.

Specifies the document permissions.
Specifies the user password to restrict viewing permissions on this PDF document. Empty for no encryption.

Shrink code blocks on page.
Show line numbers for code blocks.
Make spaces visable by dots (·) instead of white spaces.
Make line breaks visable by a extra character (¶) at the end.

MoinMoin - Generate PDF document using HTMLDOC

This action script generate PDF documents from a Wiki site using
the HTMLDOC (http://www.htmldoc.org) software packages which has
to be preinstalled first.

Copy this script in your's MoinMoin action script plugin directory.

Thanks goes to Pascal Bauermeister who initiated the implementaion.
Lot of things changes since then but the idear using HTMLDOC is the
main concept of this implementation.

FusoLab/NetBoot

FusoLab's 3 PCs Configuration HowTo

Boot da rete e configurazione dei 3 computer al piano di sopra del FusoLab: ubuntolo, ubuntolosecondo e ubuntoloterzo.

boot da rete

installare dhcp3-server e tftpd-hpa

apt-get install dhcp3-server
apt-get install tftpd-hpa

configurare il dhcp

Modificare come root /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf aggiungendo alla fine queste righe

subnet 192.168.168.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
        range 192.168.168.100 192.168.168.200;
        filename "pxelinux.0";
}

scaricare l'immagine di xubuntu

wget ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.xubuntu.com/releases/8.04.1/release/xubuntu-8.04.1-alternate-i386.iso

montare l'immagine di xubuntu

mkdir /tmp/xubuntu
sudo mount -o loop xubuntu-8.04.1-alternate-i386.iso /tmp/xubuntu

copiare la directory di netboot in /var/lib/tftpd-hpa

sudo cp -a /tmp/xubuntu/install/netboot/* /var/lib/tftpd-hpa/

configurare l'indirizzo IP locale staticamente

sudo ifconfig eth0 192.168.168.1

far partire il dhcp server

sudo /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server restart

far partire tftpd

sudo tftpd-hpa -l -s /var/lib/tftpboot

fare il boot da rete

Accendere computer su cui si deve fare l'installazione e entrare nel bios premendo F2 subito dopo l'avvio. Cambiare la priorita' di boot mettendo per prima la scheda di rete usando i tasti + e -. Salvare i cambiamenti nel bios. Il PC si dovrebbe avviare e dovrebbe partire l'installazione di xubuntu.

installazione di xubuntu

Seguire i passi sullo schermo. Prima della configurazione di rete fermare dhcp3-server sul computer configurato con dhcp server e tftpd.

sudo /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server stop

configurazione

Finita l'installazione di xubuntu, quando il computer si riavvia, entrare in una shell premendo ctrl+alt+F2. Entrare con username e password dell'utente creato durante l'installazione.

Solo per i monitor vecchi (olidata), modificare /etc/X11/xorg.conf aggiungendo nella sezione "Monitor" la riga

Creare un nuovo utente "non sudoer", ad esempio l'utente "user"

sudo adduser user

Premere alt+F7 per tornare al login grafico. Premere ctrl+alt+backspace per riavviare il login grafico. Ora i caratteri dovrebbero essere visibili. Fare il login con l'utente creato durante l'installazione di xubuntu (non l'utente "user").

Premere alt+F2 per far apparire l'esecuzione di comandi e digitare:

sudo gdmsetup

Andare sulla scheda sicurezza->login automatico e selezionare l'utente "user". Fare il logout e quindi il login come utente "user". Andare nel pannello di configurazione di xubuntu ed aggiungere firefox ai programmi in "esecuzione automatica" (un'icona con la lettera "A").

Aprire firefox e cambiare la pagina iniziale mettendo http://www.fusolab.net

A questo punto il PC e' pronto e puo' essere riavviato. Al riavvio rimettere a posto l'ordine di boot nel BIOS.

finalizzazione

Andare sul computer configurato con il dhcp server e tftpd e togliere i permessi di esecuzione:

sudo chmod -x /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server
sudo chmod -x /etc/init.d/tftpd-hpa
